General FAQs
CrewCard is a South African platform designed for freelance creatives in the commercial, film, and television industries. Freelancers can create a detailed profile (called a “Listing”) to showcase their experience, while recruiters can search and connect with crew members.
Please note: CrewCard is not a recruitment agency, and we do not charge commission on any placements. All interactions between users are completely confidential — our role is simply to connect people in the industry.

You also have the option to sign in using your Google account.
During registration, select the role that best matches you:
- Freelance Crew – ideal for creatives looking to create a Listing with their experience to be found by Leads and Job posters.
- Companies & Services – ideal for companies looking to find and shortlist freelance crew.
You can change your role later via Account Details under “Account Type.”
You first need to register on crewcard.co.za to create an account. Once you’ve registered, you can create a Listing — your public profile that allows others to find and connect with you.
No — registering an account does not automatically create a Listing. You’ll need to Add a Listing after signing up to be discoverable by others on the platform.
Your Account Dashboard gives you access to the following:
Dashboard
View your active Listings, promoted Listings, and analytics (e.g. how many views your Listing has received).
My Listings
View all your Listings, their type, package plan, creation date, and expiry. For each Listing, you can:
- Promote – Boosts visibility for a set number of days based on your selected promotion package.
- Edit – Update any details on your Listing.
- Unpublish – Temporarily hide your Listing. Toggle to “Publish” to make it visible again.
- Stats – See how many visitors you’ve had and from which countries.
- Delete – Permanently delete your Listing and its content. Note: No refunds for deleted listings. See our Refund Policy.
Promoted Listings
You can promote any Listing from the “My Listings” section.
Bookmarks
See all Listings you’ve bookmarked.
Account Details
- Change Password – Update your password.
- Connected Accounts – Connect or disconnect your Google account.
- Account Type – Change your user role if needed.
Orders
View your history of Listings and promotions purchased.
Log Out
Always log out after using a shared or public device for your security.
Listing Packages & Promotions FAQs
We offer two types of profiles:
- Freelance Crew – for individuals offering their services.
- Companies & Services – for businesses looking to hire freelance creatives.
- With promotions, you have an additional method to get noticed on CrewCard. Promote your Listing and push it at the top of the results for the number of days you selected.
- Select the “Promote” button under each listing in Dashboard > My Listings.
- Clicking on it will open a pop-up with the list of promotion packages that you can choose from. You will be redirected immediately to the Checkout page.
- Once the order is placed, verified, and completed, the listing will be automatically promoted and given the higher priority in search results.
- Active promotions can be managed by users in User Dashboard > Promoted listings.
You can promote any Listing from the “My Listings” section. Promotion packages available:
- Promote for 10 Days
- Promote for 20 Days
- Promote for 30 Days

Personal Information FAQs
Yes. Only registered users can view full Listings. You have full control over your visibility — simply select “Unpublish” to hide your Listing from all viewers and search results. You can publish it again at any time.
We also use server- and site-level security to prevent unauthorized registrations and rely on the CrewCard community to report suspicious Listings or activity.
Yes. We use Payfast as our payment gateway partner. They are a PCI DSS Level 1 Service Provider and follow strict security protocols to protect all customer payment data.
Yes. You have full control over your content and media. When you delete a Listing or your account, all associated media and data are permanently removed. We do not retain any personal information or files after deletion.
